Warm Up with Free Winter Activities in Regina!
Embrace the winter season with a range of free and fun activities for all ages. Here’s what’s available:
Free Public Skating
From October to March, enjoy free skating sessions at various arenas across Regina, including Jack Hamilton, Clarence Mahon, Al Ritchie, Doug Wickenheiser, and Balfour Arena. Check specific times and dates for each location to plan your visit.
Free Public Swim
Dive into free swimming sessions from November to March at leisure centers like North West, Sandra Schmirler, and Lawson Aquatic Centre. Enjoy a refreshing swim at designated times each month.
Winter Try-It Activity Sessions
Join our free outdoor "Try-It" sessions from December through February, featuring winter games, crafts, and even snowshoeing. Sessions are held on weekends at locations like Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre, North West Leisure Centre, and Mount Pleasant.
Winter Escapes Day Camp for Kids
Give your children a winter adventure they won’t forget! Our Winter Escapes Day Camp, in partnership with YMCA Regina, offers kids (ages 6-12) activities like skating, snowshoeing, and outdoor games during the winter break. Sessions are available from December 30 to January 3 and February 18 to 21. Register online or by phone.
